VACB Site Information
Terms of Use
These terms explain what VACB is, what it is not, and the responsibility each visitor keeps when using the site.
Education, not representation
VACB explains parts of the VA claim system in plain English and provides planning tools. Using VACB does not create an attorney-client, clinician-patient, representative-client, or fiduciary relationship. VACB is not the Department of Veterans Affairs and does not speak for VA.
VACB does not provide legal advice, medical advice, claim filing, evidence review, VA-account access, or individualized claim strategy. For advice about a specific matter, use a qualified accredited representative, attorney, or clinician.
Verify before acting
Rules, forms, rates, deadlines, and VA procedures can change. VACB works to keep material current, but no page can replace the controlling law, regulation, official form instructions, or a veteran’s actual VA decision. Check the linked primary source and the current official instructions before filing, choosing a review lane, or relying on a deadline.
Calculators and planning tools
VACB calculators and checklists produce educational estimates and planning prompts. They do not issue benefits decisions, guarantee a rating, calculate an official payment, or account for every exception. VA’s decision and official records control.
Links and outside services
Links are provided to help readers verify sources or reach a separate service. A link does not mean VACB controls or guarantees the outside site. Purchases from Buster Apparel or another outside service are handled under that service’s own terms, policies, pricing, and fulfillment process.
Reasonable use
You may use VACB for personal education and share links to public pages. Do not:
- present VACB content as an official VA decision or communication;
- use VACB branding to imply that VACB represents or endorses a claim service;
- sell copied VACB guides, tools, artwork, or substantial portions of the site as your own product;
- interfere with the site, bypass access controls, or use automated traffic that disrupts normal visitors.
Corrections and changes
VACB may revise content, tools, or these terms as the site develops. Material corrections are dated when they change the substance of published guidance. To report an issue, use the Contact / Corrections Desk.
